* Eligibility
1. Applicants must be full time U.S undergraduates and postgraduates, and in good health, both physically and psychologically. (U.S citizen)
2. Applicants should not be a registered student in Chinese universities at the time of application.
3. Education background and age limit:
a.Applicants for bachelor’s degree program must have high school certificate and be under the age of 25;
b. Applicants for master’s degree program must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35;
c. Applicants for doctoral degree program must have master’s degree and be under the age of 40.
d. Applicants cannot apply for any language program other than Chinese language.

3.  Academic transcripts (notarized photocopy), in English or Chinese translation
4. Photocopy of passport personal information page

6. Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form
7. HSK certificate, if available
8. Master and PhD program applicants should also provide two recommendation letters in Chinese or English in related research fields and a study or research plan in Chinese or English with no less than 800 words.
Note: Applicants should pay application fee: RMB 415yuan (paid at university registration)

 * Language of Instruction
1. Bachelor programs are taught in Chinese. Applicants should provide HSK 4 or above certificate, or should take 1-year preparatory program (Chinese language program).
2. Bachelor program in “Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages” is specially designed for international students. Applicants with HSK 4 certificate can directly start from the second year.
3. 3-year Master Programs are taught in Chinese. Applicants should provide HSK 4 or above certificate, or should take 1-year preparatory program (Chinese language program).
4. Applicants for 2-year English taught master programs do not need to provide HSK certificate.
5. Doctoral programs are taught in either Chinese or English. Students taking Chinese-taught program and who does not meet the Chinese language requirement should taking 1-year preparatory program (Chinese language program).
